I've constructed your thoughts in sentences,
Molded phrases between commas and semicolons,
Each pause an attempt to reflect--inflect,
And a dash to make me hesitate--at least for a second,
A subtle reminder of what I have lost.

It is understood that no amount of adjective stacking
Nor cliché will make a difference,
It will not become any more enhanced
Or more cherished,
Just the result,
The inevitable cause and effect--—
That ends with a period.
