ink: shoes and fast food by Matthew Sharpoil for the gears
shoes for the centipede
chemically pristine
band aid for an empty wound
glasses for the blind
murder for peace
eaten back to life
another day
new drama and circumstantial pressure.
caged into indecision,
make a decision
on
the
structural integrity
my sanity
/
never sane.....
emotions bypass the brain
oblivous to its scented stain.
sweaty ink
broadcast stink
bathe in the gas.--> station bathroom sink
believe we are unique and different?
we all taste the same over an open flame............. 08/05/2007 Posted on 08/05/2007 Copyright © 2024 Matthew Sharp

Posted by Meagan Green on 08/06/07 at 03:53 AM i love your truth in this, and it ends brutal beautiful " believe we are unique and different?
we all taste the same over an open flame............." your poetry is sometimes hard to decipher by eye, but you manage to describe who you are in most honest ways, the only way you know how to expose your soul. |
