the wrong end of the telescope

by Lindsay Sanders

baby, i think i keep trying to wake up
from a dream that seems
more real than reality,
but i'm too asleep to tell.

and the only thing i’m certain of
is that i’m not really certain of
anything but love,
and i know i’m never
really gonna get love
with my brain because
ten percent is not enough.

but honey, i am pretty damn sure
that you and i playing in a sandbox,
ever so blind
to the beach underneath.

if you're too asleep to tell...it mustn't be a dream darling...we can only sense dreams half asleep. hmm. what a playful and sensational little piece though..makes me want to lay down. give it a shot and look for the sandbox. very fun/smart/creative miss sanders.
