Trust Jesus

by Susan Q Tomas

I am in the dark, I can not see.
I ask for a lamp, instead you take my hand.
I still insist, "I can't see where I am going."
"Give me light so I can see."
My child, you say,
"If you see what is around you,
if you see what is in front of you,
you will stop dead in your tracks,
and won't continue on.
Fear will immobilize you.
Take my hand, and trust me.
Have faith in me and I will lead you
to a place better than you envision."
I take your hand and we walk.
The Father does know best.

Author's Note: This is not an original concept, but it came to me in church today. I am going on a road trip this weekend, and I know I will see it spray painted on overpasses, as I always do: "Trust Jesus"

It may not be an original concept, but when it's whispered in your ear by the Father and repeated obediently, it will be a rhema word for some needy soul. This was that for me. Thank you. I needed this fresh whisper, right now.

Susan, I too needed to hear this. He is speaking to His children through you. Thanks you for being a willing vessel. Have a safe trip.
