It completely disappeared in there! by Johnny CrimsonShe aged at the speed of sunlight
and it was mostly
about her eyes
Wax exploded from candlesticks
and nervously ran down the
shiny brass mantle
Upon her entering the room
Expecting nothing more
than a whisper of wind
Coming from her mouth
to extinguish the flame
The candles were all surprised
when the wax touched the back
of her throat
raising her arms
as she danced in that fucking night gownd
made from the kind of fabric
that shines in the dark
i wondered if she knew i was here
in her room
cuddled in the corner
in the spot she never checks
and forever there i will sit
thanking god for the lack of electricity
and always wishing i was
made out of wax 07/16/2007 Posted on 07/16/2007 Copyright © 2024 Johnny Crimson

Posted by Anne Boulender on 07/16/07 at 10:32 PM Who was that that opened with the line about biting into the madeline? Proust? They went on and on about what a great intro that was. Eff proust. This is way better. You go away, you come back better than ever. You punch it real good with that handy dirty glove. Aged, speed of sunlight, mostly about her eyes................. |
