The Girl who Slept With the World

by Emma Turtle

She travels alone
Relaxed by her transports drone
A family members voice over the phone
Takes her home

She don’t know where she is going
I don’t know where she has been
She just wants to be miles away from here

Running away from her ghosts
Leaving behind the ones she loves the most
Each destination another pleasant host
As always she is the toast

Living her life place by place,
New life new face
Seems she’s the girl that everyone knows
Different place, different world

Your girl, My girl, That girl

Seems she is the girl who sleeps with the world

Your girl, That girl

My Girl.
