Alone by Keith D AllisonI’m but a shadows of the pond
on the third rock from the Sun
where life reuse and death does calls
The beauty of white and blue flows
in the vastness, where a small spaceship move
in the small segment of time where life may breathe
Where chaos and death may reign
I have found myself to be of less, than normal carbon unit
for there was no beauty, nor desirability to be found
Blessed and curse I have known pain
for does anything exist when the heart knows no gain
sadder more, the time of unit marches to a close
Long has been the days, never ceasing to play the game
in the Great Hall, the echoes of the ghost of rejection remain
as I have breathe, so shall I pass… alone 07/12/2007 Posted on 07/12/2007 Copyright © 2024 Keith D Allison
