to accept the exception.
I care too much.
We relate so closely in that
we care so much and so, in response,
not nearly enough.
I tried to fight it, bashfully but with artificial confidence,
to be close to you,
and you could not tell me it was unnecessary.
I didn't accept myself,
and I didn't trust that you could
love me because I've been so hurt
and so have you. 07/08/2007 Author's Note: this is about everyone i've ever cared about at all.
