| Posted by Alison McKenzie on 07/04/07 at 03:32 AM I prefer "interdependence" and I've simply surrendered to the idea that there is a completely acceptable balance of dependence that is NOT unhealthy. Where would we, as a race, be if we were not dependent on one another in SOME fashion or another. We are a society, a people, not sole entities that never come into contact with anyone else. The idea that we are either unhealthy co-dependents or miserably alone is just.....silly to me. Ok. I'll stop now. But I ENTIRELY agree with the top two lines. :-) |
