Two Languages

by Jeffrey Parren

Like Staples provides an easy button
I wish life provided an unbiased
relationship reviewer
in instants where no common ground
can be assimilated that
timeout would be called
and a conversation expert
would come onto our field
encapsulating many yards
and take time to conjugate
my words into hers and vice versa
because it just feels like
we are speaking two languages
and all I want to do is learn yours,
because to me mine is now useless.

I really like the message here and the way you've crafted it. There's a forlorn flavor to this that's mesmerizing.
