To Write
by Jeffrey ParrenTo write is a gift
and to do it every day
a present that gives back
the thoughts and ideas
sometimes too hard to say
but to jot down
in broken lines
with even emotions so big
language falls short
so I keep writing
to say it another way
and perhaps come across
something never said
or at least to a conclusion
I am happy to say is my own. 06/24/2007 Author's Note: Writing will take me places I never even thought of.
