It may be interesting for some
but the tired circularity of life
is growing ever so bittersweet.

I can realistically determine
if all chugs along in the same way
that in three years I could be free.

I could be dead in two.  Why then,
does the many factors of tomorrow
bother me so much today?

When asked if living or not, Jeffrey Parren
simply responded, "Depends."
Those could be in his future too.

Mathematics and genetics
do not favor this kind soul
for < 60 is his solution unwanted.

If I were to write my own obituary,
the abstract nature of its definition
would confuse all, as I have been.

For most my life I have lived without
and the whole hindsight is 20-20,
well it is, but I wouldn't go back, not now.

Too much to live for, the circle is widening
finding myself growing as an individual
about to embrace existence with open arms.
