Finding Out Myself

by Jeffrey Parren

I take on each day
with forked tongues...bleh
as if it were my last...yada
cliches humble me
for I try so hard to not be common
simply because ordinary is annoying
and much of my life I was just that
put in my place by my own lackings
unable to stand up
to find who I was
but in finding slowly who I am
I realize the changes on the bad
and the improvements to the already good
that loving myself is not ego
rather it is knowing I am worthy
of success and happiness
where ever that may be
I hope I am there to realize it
when it is placed in front of me.

Self revealing, comes through as open and honest, philosophical, message direct and clear! Wishing you the best!
