snails wiggle tails

by Peter Humphreys

did
you
know
that
snails
do
wiggle
their
tails
when
the
moon
is
full?

did
you
know
that
just
around
now
the
sky
barely
goes
dark
in
our
land?

did
you
know
the
diamond
in the
southerly
sky is
not
a star
for you
and I
but Jove's
singular
gleam?

do
you
know
those
snails
that
wiggle
their
tails
are
just
loving
not
mooning
you
see?

Great write. Loved the last stanza.
