another day
another dollar rolls out of sight
and into the hands of those
who run the race
mouths opened wide,
but where am I?
in the midst ...

have I stepped aside
in this journey we call life
or is it dreaming,
on these sidelines
lost my nerve
the will to fight
hell no!
I've only just begun,
again ...
