Yes

by Peter Humphreys

We smell
the flowers
and touch
as limbs
entwine
so hard
now to
dissemble
as two
in one
become
but one
as river rat
swims fat
and flat
wriggling
cross
the flow
of bog brown
cadence
cast
we hold
unto each
other fast
for will
this moment
ever last
as Dodder
streams
from bog
to fog
source
to sea
upon
this summer
air doth
flee and
heron waits
and timid
wagtails bow
hello yet
surely go
as summer
turns
to winter
then
spring returns
then shall
we learn
the life
filled scenes
of quiet gleams
upon the banks
of Dodder?

You almost structure this thing like a flower, if that makes any sense. I love the style and how well you pull it off.

Somewhere within the realm of that wich is transitory, we find those constants that anchor us to each other. Enjoyed this very much.

This was not only fun to read read for the poetic style but the imagery as well. Nicely done.
