john, the lost boys, and never never land

by Rachelle Howe

she was a lost boy, poised,
waiting for peter to come back and
save her from never never land.
she was walking through the endless passage,
listening for clocks and the constant
ticktockticktocktick, but i
wandered into the void,
into the sea which held souls captive,
wondering which leg would biteandsnag but,
there she was, waiting, waiting for peter,
and here i whispered,
"you're no wendy yet."

I missed stuff like this a lot. Very few can paint it the way you can.

found in the lost folder...too personal, I imagine, for me to fully appreciate, all lowercase and whispers - is there calm without a storm? [rhetorical :]
missing your fire, watching for the rings...

This has the ethereal quality of a never never land and as a once time dweller and Wendy impersonator I appreciate this vision...psst I was lured by my Pan but in the end I rescued him from himself. smh

Hello, my love. You've done it again: manufactured dream fragments for my subconscious.

it almost feels that there is no peter in this story, it feels lonely...
