Hair in the ground! by Johnny CrimsonAll in closet closed
Shelves of people line this angry place
We wait for the Nazis
and pray for some finger foods
I've pushed all the food closer to my skin
so the cannibals won't complain
And we make little comments
and walk with our eyes jammed up
the asses of women
Who save room for retinas in their undergarments
Canyons are valleys
from this point of view
And we bury coyotes
with worthy one liners
Here Lies Smokey
All Brave And Dead
GOODBYE
As we fill the desert with the pets of our lives
Lets make room for bithces
and cosmetic lockers
And dig up our dogs
and friends of our youth
For they are worth more
than confusing rashes
and 2 hours of friction
Bury your best friend
if that friend has a hole
between their legs 06/05/2007 Posted on 06/05/2007 Copyright © 2024 Johnny Crimson

Posted by Anne Boulender on 06/06/07 at 03:20 AM uh oh, i have another favorite. one time i tried to clean out my favorites list just so the ones in there would stand out and people would be more inclined to read them. well screw that plan. |
Posted by Coleman Demiurge on 06/06/07 at 04:19 AM Yeah, this is a pretty great poem; the forth stanza was my favorite - "we bury coyotes with worthy one liners" - that's pretty awesome. I liked the last stanza as well, brutally beautiful... Excellent work. |
