Gods of Night

by Razel Davies

Dreams have fallen,
Into your eyes.
Blood dripped tears,
Tasted memories.

With hope’s hurt,
Stolen home.
Darkness holds,
Death’s vice grip.

Release this world,
My dearest.
The gift of black,
Is now yours.

Still heart beats.
Still, yet is beats.

Run on,
To daylight.
You cannot escape,
Your fate sealed.
The night Gods,
Will save you now.

Natural curses,
Fakery of the Sun.
Vampire’s kiss,
A final breach.

Day-dreams fallen,
Into your mouth.
Blood trickle laugh,
Discarded memories.

Take you home,
Barren lands.
Scent holding,
Forced grace.

Run on,
To daylight.
You cannot escape,
Your fate sealed.
The night Gods,
Will save you now.

Run on,
To daylight.
You cannot escape,
Your fate sealed.
The night Gods,
Will save you now.

Still heart beats.
Still, yet is beats.
