infinitesmal organic posterity

by Matthew Sharp

sit still
destroy less
obnoxious shadow chasers
destroy thier organic make up
the honor of familiarity and respect
annhilated in distrust

Author's Note: an echo from the speechless. based on the idea that life's drama continues all the way down to the quantum and beyond. our destruction of a magnitude of universe with enough drama to make us sorrow are destroyed with every novelty movement we make out of character with the instinctual obviousness of respect in equality. our eyes magnify for selfish diversification. a creation that never added anything to the equation of 'one'. so be it.

Fascinating in form, loud and silent both in expression, marked by restraint and a flowing forth, from poem to note. In this case I see the note as part of the poem, and deeply so, the shortness of the verse a mirroring microcosm of insight, the note-- a spilling forth (like the poem's echo. A unity that goes "all the way down to the quantum and beyond".
