places where the air is effervescent,
where the soil is more alive.
in places such as these,
anything is possible;
standard rules do not apply.
every square inch there
equals four.
up is up there
but then, so is down.
in places such as these
the boundaries of imagination
are only the starting point.
I have longed all my life
for such a place -
ached to plant my feet within its borders,
my heart within its embrace
yearning in futility
until the moment my tired eyes
