"But Soft"

by Max Phineas

You whisper sweet melodies
off a balcony above
And I forget how to breathe
I forget how to move.

Making love to a moonlit sky
Selling quiet truths to
My uncertain heart.

Just breathe in.

Again, a song
a note, a key
Unlock within me
Long forgotten light

Placing faith in the heart on my sleeve
And pressing desire in the palm of your hand
The shy ones dance
But we romance the stars.

Just breathe out.

I’m lost…

…And found

Just Breathe.

Author's Note: Another one for the memory book...I don't really know what I just said, haha...

You may not know what you said, but I rather enjoyed it. It was kind of like reading the thoughts of someone whose breath is being taken away... but then I'm a romantic deep down. *shhh* Don't tell!

Whew--Romeo and Juliet all at once and it IS the shy ones who most romance--the shyness is dream into beauty--I think--you are right and you said... "Just breathe"--yes...that is the key to everything!
