Today Never Being Easy

For all tough todays
I still ponder fondly.
Why can I not gather
The importance and grace
All the todays present?
Deep questions elude answer,
Finding confusion guilty,
Todays' wrinkled clothing.
I sit back, relaxing a tired mind
Gripping an existence
Somewhat elusive current.
Why can I not appreciate now?
Sleep in all todays' beds,
