My rugged ambition fights
Tiredness; exhaustion
Wears and tears of existence

Days spent doing nothing
Dreaming of goals nigh achieved
Mire my financial burdens

Missing close connection
Of one who knew me so well
I wander aimlessly, lost

To the person I will become
I wish you the best
Rugged ambition, polished over.
