A good mother.
Hopped a plane to make sure I was ok.
Never judged me.
Feared for my safety, of body and mind.
Cried tears because of me.
Cried tears for me, with me.

High blood sugar.
Low kidney function.
Pacemaker.
Dialysis.
You couldn't see.
Surgery after surgery.
You found the power to fight.
You showed me what it is to live.
Since you stopped, so have I.
