the walls covered in blue
a baseball glove and ball on the table
a framed picture of Don Mattingly on the wall
a crib, center of the room
housing stuffed animals
blue sheets, with sports-type things
and a tiny blue blanket

such a glorious room
for this father of three
girls
all he wanted was a boy
and now he had one on the way!

he hoped a boy
until out popped little Emily

dismay engorged by happiness
