You may grow older
You may grow wiser
Some things do never change
Inevitably
Always
You meet someone from your past
You remember the times that could have been
You revisit the days when your body was svelte
When you didn't have credit card debt
The times pass
Your body's energy leaves far too early
Your mind becomes flooded with regret
Existence develops around all the possibilities
Yet nothing ever changes
