Each bad poem
That next step to a better one
Rarely get written
Thus festering in my mind
Cliches or overused metaphors
or worse!
Some random punctuation
With little meaning
Fighting for a reason to be heard
Yet not knowing the grand deduction
Confusing synonyms to make you question my worthiness
And if these were written more
Each one would make you doubt me that little extra
Until a poem of perfection is erected
Knocking you to your knees
Begging for
Lagniappe
