humid waves of summer sleep

by Maria Terezia Ferencz

a sweet familiar scent seeps
through humid waves of summer sleep
waking him from silent dreams
musky smell so real she seems
softly down his lips she lies
his dream song now he sings in sighs
her moans he tangles in his hair
of only her flesh is he aware
through humid waves of summer seep
low cries of lovers fast asleep

To have a love that makes time stop to the point that you only realize the existence of one another. What a wonderful scene and the word usage and flow are excellent, like always. ~JPP

I love this and....thats all I can think of to say right now.

I love this. My sweetheart is more humid than our summer heat and if you've ever experienced Mississippi in the summer you'll know how legendary that pronouncement, lol. He radiates more humidity than the beach of Biloxi than July at high noon.

Well, I succumbed to the soporific swell - and was amused by 'fast asleep', which could be read in any direction, though I favour the unconscious abstinence interpretation :)
