fever dream

by Aaron Michael

i'll spend indifferent moments
subtly searching for inspiration amongst empty pages

waiting for them to fill themselves.

when the light catches in
proper angles of timespace and luck
there is beautiful between the rays
and there is genius
and there is perfection.

but i cannot prove it.

i can only hope that you see what i see.

Author's Note: have i come to this? or has this been where i was all along?

I always enjoy when you help me see whatever you see, Sir. And then you take me exactly where you are, wherever it may be!

sometimes the reader sees more, and that is the genius of writing...the reader has the say even though the writer is saying. i enjoy little philosophical pieces like this. ~JPP
