I think his name was mediocrity.

by Jolie Jordan

I slid my hand inbetween his thighs
I always get a rush getting a rise
and baby, I always get a rise.

Everything is always so typical
and I was never a fan of foreplay.

I am the perfect girl, and you are just my breakfast.

i read this because of the title. and i sort of got something else. its a nice jab. my only problem with mediocrity these days is when it thinks it something more than it is. as long as it knows then we are cool. i know thats not what your poem is about, but it sort think that. but it interesting that some people mistake mediocre stuff as being something greater than it is. that sort of happens a lot.

Better to be perpetually apathetic than occasionally empathetic, says me at least. Anyway, great title and a fine poem to live up to it... And yes, foreplay is very overrated. ;)
