Take My Hand (lost lyrics)

and the struggle her husband went through to help her
he overheard a conversation
he knew he wasn't meant to hear
she was talking to her reflection
in the bathroom mirror
the anguish in her voice just stopped him
he felt the tears in her eyes
so he stood behind the door
and listened to her cry
'i don't like what i see
i can't believe this reflection is me
what happened to the dreams i had
and the girl i used to be'

that if i take your hand
you'll see how far i've fallen
and you'll know how low i am 04/27/2007 Author's Note: i don't normally post incomplete works...but i wrote this song several years ago and cannot find it. this part has been drifting through my mind for the past few weeks, so i am hoping that by writing it down here it will stop pestering me!
