Love Lost

by Jeffrey Parren

I gathered what was left
After once again I was right
She was honest
Her love was counterfeit
Towards my being
Which is now nothingness.

She erased the lyrics
Now I see my imprint
How big an impression
Today her disassociation
The phone did not ring
Watch how I disappear.

Author's Note: See if you can figure out the (kinda) form I used.

I have no idea what "form" but, I liked it a lot! I read it twice! I loved this one line "She was honest Her love was counterfeit"..it is a stand alone moment of truth. Vivid!
