Soul Mate

by Joe Cramer

My soul mate doesn't want me,

Will have nothing to do

With my life, despite my best efforts.

I won't cry this time, or even plea.

Instead I sit in stone silence,

No smile upon my face,

A grimace again supplanted.

My soul mate says I am an indulgence,

Something that I have never been,

Or would even care to be.

She now has nothing to do with me.

the feeling is relatable. i like it. but were she your soulmate perhaps this wouldn't have been written.

it's a terrible thing when our souls change direction without a turn signal!

Oh! What a BEAST! Nasty BEAST! Kick her memory to the curb quickly. She needs a good swift whack on the fanny with the sole of your shoe. Soulmates don't do things like this. I'm still waiting for mine, but I'm too picky to let just anyone into my life. Maybe that's the good thing about going through all the horsepuckey that I did. Somehow, and I know you don't believe it now, all this pain and experience will be useful someday. Got it?
