Undoing undone advice

by A. Paige White

I plucked and stuck
with lighthearted aplomb
the prettiest of
the last of
my white azaleas
into the vase with the striated
-oh so red- roses given me by my son
i wondered if there were soap spottings
bubble bursts
blown across the lawn
from a distance, you couldn't tell
their best day was seen the day before
the yellowing spots of time
with all it's deadly decline
did not impair
the arrangement did not care
while I'm arranging for the capture
deranged to some and rearranging
-let me hold this love inside my heart
with modern day polaroid
- digitalis amours-
little easter froggies
given in years before
holding rabbit eggs
some in their own baskets
others tumble free
-perhaps they have egg wars too!-
just as (silly adults!) did we...
glower dying flower
lowering an undone Don's advice
i listen once and nod unconvinced
i listen twice and wince
in projected pain
I wouldn't twist the knife again
if some peace
they've tried to splice
but I remember
the often roses I took
i never wrote
the dates on some Paige
or in some book
but often I tried to express
i have a message... YES!
and it's mine
God's creation from my mess...YES
and it's mine!

Author's Note: I often ramble through a...
a... preamble... ;-}
For you Donnie! You are a gift from God.

Paige, this is wonderful! Glad the "kid" in you came out to play. Your son must be adorable! Sometimes rambling is the only way to get through to that which makes sense.

Hi Paige, And I thought I was the only one with the big kid heart. Hee! Hee! You sure do too. Great write Paige. This is so adorable and cute. I also agree with Michelle too. :)
