Hope is There

by Charles M Harrison

A world full of turmoil
on the brink of utter despair.
News of wars, hunger, disease,
stories where no one seems to care.

The goodness and grace of men
drowned by their evil deeds
Biblical predictions unfold
as innocents dies and bleeds.

Closer each day we seem
to come nearer to the end told,
In a book of stories and fables
written by many men of old.

Signs given to a world
that chooses to remain blind.
To one much greater than
the power of a human mind.

The one, the word, I am
the beginning and the end.
Laying dead for three days
and yet rose to life again.

The giver of all life
who died for one and all.
He defeated death to keep
all men from sins fall.

A world full of turmoil
on the brink of utter despair.
Yet in my heart I rejoice
with the truth I have to share.

For yes the end is coming
when all of this world has died.
Then all will be born anew
with the coming of the bride.

Death has been defeated
with the resurrection of the one.
The bright and morning star,
our savior, Gods own son.

Hope is there, bright and shinning
upon us all in this time and place
Who will open up their hearts
and accepts GodÂ’s love and grace.
