Gullible Was I

by more than one
that i lack
a sense of humor
so it should
come as no
suprise to those
who know me
that i was quite
pathetic yesterday
when i got the
'red screen'
i actually shed
one little tear
at the thought
that it was over
this wonderful
ride through
the minds of
others like me
gullible i may be
but i can still
appreciate the
humor behind a good joke 04/02/2007 Author's Note: Though I may look foolish, I have to applaud the April Fool's joke by Gavin and gang. Great! I really did fall for it...and spent about 2 hours trying to find another online poetry community and was veeerrrryyy disappointed at the offerings. I am so relieved it was just a joke.

I found where I'd joined delirious at the beginning of 06 but never persued it... yeah the fbi on ice was a great bug zapper for me! I may graduate to deliriously pathetic poet...I obliviously failed to connect the date at all til late last night and I knew good and well it was April's fools since it's an anniversary of note in my life.... dunno, I am an April's fool! ;-} |

Paige White on 04/02/07 at 05:57 PM lol, one other thing of note I found was where somebody has published one of my poems (where's my daddy)on a site I'd never heard of and dropped a word in the last line of the last stanza. That hurt my feelings worse than finding it on a site I never heard of... My life is April 1 most days though... ;-P |
