righteous indigenation by Matthew Sharpi'm living naturally
like a bee
going from plant to plant
or tree to tree
to pollenate
like leaving a path of pregnant ladies in my wake
no mistakes
no blood test needed to take
just for this face
to populate this place
never to leave my d.n.a. to vanish without a trace
slow or immediate
any illituhrit idiot can read it
even if i delete me as an ingredient
here's the earth and i'm feeding it
worthlessly disobedient
thats my label
if you're not believing it
slow down when you're reading it
i'm spreading my seed in these cities
the places i'm living
the facelift its getting
to me is not fitting
keeping me ambitiously spitting
blaming my aim on the topics i'm hitting
trapped in a frame
that ignites this flame
to keep me dry while i write in the middle of this political reign
i'll never be the same
i can feel it trying to slow the flow of my brain
like a noose removing the circulation from my vains
