Cumulus Accumulation

by A. Paige White

The cumulous cotton balls are swiping overhead
I stand below with a kerchief wave
Sneezing out a nasal gripe - ahaahh ..kerchew
"You missed on that last swipe"
"The pollen isn't even smeared"

"Perhaps on the next pass..."
while stratus patches white on blue
unmoving from this surface view
And circum cirrus won't draw near us
"You'll scrub away the yellow dew?"

ahaahhh KERCHEW!

Author's Note: AAAAAHHHH Springtime is lovely in bloom...
Cotton bawl kerchiefs are the handiest hankies
