A Thousand Miles

by Joe Cramer

You smile constantly

When you talk to me

Laughing throughout the day.

I always enjoy such laughter,

Listening to the merriment

In your sweet, melodic voice.

Sometimes I get to see that smile

Often enough it blows me a kiss.

I can't wait to press my lips

So softly against yours

Throughout the night.

Your smile lifts me up,

I long to hear it even more.

When can I see your smile again?

When can we once more begin?
I would walk a thousand miles

For just one of your smiles.

If just around the corner

Could it get any better?

You smile constantly

When you talk to me.

I love to hear your smile,

Will you share it again with me?

I love your smile!

I'm smiling just reading your words. And wishing I could hear that from someone special. It's in your making her feel special that brings out the smiles. And the fact that you would walk 1,000 miles makes it all the more romantic, because you don't actually have to do that.
