the exit sign reads, "CAUTION!" by Ava Blu
we sat above them at the movies
and each time the screen flashed,
I saw her heave
with his guilty conscious between her breasts
I wanted to throw my napkin,
but it was catching each tear
that I couldnt allow to linger any longer
and the only fleeting remedy
was remembering your silhouette as it crept along the boards underneath her house
one day her husband will find out
and one day your cunning, con artist bullshit
wont be taken into consideration
we sat around them at the movies
and each time the screen flashed,
I saw him analyzing his escapes
without hesitations or remorse for his guilty cum between her lips
I wanted to scream treacherous indignations
but my voice was muffled
and I could no longer allow myself
to be his pawn.

| Posted by Gabriel Ricard on 03/22/07 at 03:56 AM Wow. Though this is definitely in the spirit of your usual work, in terms of language and voice, you really played around with a style that I usually don't see you rolling with. I think you've done it before, but certainly not very often, and certainly not as good as this. |
