As Emily Now Grows

by Joe Cramer

Emily grows away

From me, every day.

She has so much to do,

So much to say

In her quiet, shy way.

I miss my little girl

As her world

Evolves away from mine,

All of the time.

Author's Note: I always hope that she has warm memories of the limited time we are able to spend together.

Dearest Joe, children, people, love , friendships are always moving, always flowing, what seems like someone moving away is just sometimes - a beckoning of life's tide to carry them on their Journey, yet, no one knows when that tide will bring them back again, fuller, more complete than before...much care, Rhonda
