Plagiarism!?! by Joe CramerOne student turns in another student's work
Not five minutes after the first did the same.
That "STUPID" sign must be flashing on my forehead
And yet, they both hold me to blame.
Ironic, isn't it? The trend in American education today.
As hard as I try, they still manage to lie
Their way through this inane system,
Copying the work of others.
In my world, it's still called plagiarism,
And you get a "zero." 03/13/2007 Author's Note: I would do more, but would undoubtedly be sued by a parent.

| Posted by Quentin S Clingerman on 10/08/07 at 03:48 PM I surely relate to this! LOL!! As a teacher and school librarian. For instance, I recall helping students use the encyclopedia for research. They would copy the article verbatim without even giving credit! As a high school student a classmate copied my paper to be prepared for class. We handed the papers in. Of course, the teacher wanted to know who had the original! That ended copying in her class! LOL!! |
| Posted by Michelle Angelini on 10/08/07 at 08:56 PM CONGRATULATIONS on POTD! I trying issue in today's educational system. These kids must think teachers never went to school. I hope, if they become teachers, they get themselves (as they are now) in their classrooms. HA!
