I, Labyrinth

by Jeffrey Parren

Upon discovering the labryinth that is me
do you wish to continue onward?

I find it hard being me,
so I can only assume
what it must be like for you.

The daunting task that is I.

Scattered are my thoughts.
                                           My heart too.
                                                                 I assure you.

Been through so much already,
I tend to be irritable at odd times.

As long as you know how to deal
then our fate can be sealed.

Kiss me often, kiss me true.
I will do the same unto you.

This has such a great opening, man. It sets the tone perfectly, and the rest of the poem easily lives up to it. Amazing work.
