I could be on the radio

by Melanie J Yarbrough

When I'm always waving goodbye
I forget what it feels like to be with you
it didn't hit me,
how much I love you
until you mirrored my lips
and I felt us
s e p a r a t i n g
again.
oh I miss you everyday
I'm gone,
glad your wife is there to keep you
company.

ouch! sucks to be her...i like this though in its lack of innocence...to me, it has a subtle frustration about it...an angst. these relationships...there's always someone getting emotionally slayed. tough situation.
