Angry Words

by Brian Francis

While changes sometimes disrupt our lives

and anger rages and tears at the ties

Words like daggers are thrown to effect

Wounding a heart in their flight

Tears and sobs, quiet, yet heard

Flank, out maneuver, and crush

Without a word

And sorrow rises like bile inside

Quenching rage in its tide

Brief moments viewed in history's light

Whose ripples distort the truth

Where love resides within my heart

There is always room for us two

Beautifully said! While conflict arises and sometimes harsh words ensue, forgiveness from a heart of love covers "a multitude of sins".
