A Pub in Tipperary

by Soulo Jacob Bourgeau

My travels once took me to Tipperary
Where I kissed a young sprite named Mary
We cuddled in a pub called Maggie O’Brian’s
For Mary’s heart all the patrons were veyin’
So they tossed me out on the next ferry

This is a salutary tale for visitors ... even Irish hospitality has its limits when the competition arrives! Really liked this. Thanks.
