filling us with a beggar’s belief

a more meaningful experience

As a blueberry affects the Earth
the urban core of the mega city
mysteriously escapes detection
as the masses look away
from these poor soul's plight

Like the suburbs surrounding
these American jungles
fear circles the faces
from long-lasting bursts
as drive-bys look for fame
on their convoluted journey
