Abbey Roadkill

by Maria Francesca

"You Never Give Me Your Money," complained Polythene Pam
to Mean Mr. Mustard, as they walked
through the Octopus's Garden (in the shade).

He felt his blood begin to boil;
this seemed to have become her favorite gripe
since the beginning of his reign as the Sun King.

Her Majesty opened her mouth once again
and Something inside him snapped.
He snatched up Maxwell's Silver Hammer
and brought it down upon her head.

"On, Darling," she cried, "Why?"
"Because," came his enigmatic reply
as she slipped into Golden Slumbers.

He went inside the house,
enjoying the first moment of peace and quiet he had experienced
since the two of them had Come Together.

It wasn't to last long, though;
He had locked the door behind him, but
She Came In Through The Bathroom Window.

"I could physically drag her out," he thought to himself,
"but She's So Heavy, and I don't think I could Carry That Weight."

In The End, he decided it best to just leave.
"Look," he told her cheerfully, "Here Comes the Sun. I think I'll go for a walk."

And he never came back.

Where did he go?
Nowhere, Man.

But that's another album, isn't it?
