to be a part of....

by Matthew Sharp

fill in the blanks.
shark in a fish bowl
swallow your soul
breathing accidentally
more unconscious mentally
an eyeball of centipede

rotating edibly
just ahead of me
out reach
i climb
to teach the vine
to be blind
wasting time
the dying unwind
diving for nothing
to be a part of something

critically unaclaimed

This has a really great slam poetry feel, with the way you set this up. Very, very nicely done.

Quite a description of what is required to appear normal, to "fit in". I'll take the extraordinary, like someone who can write this down, expressed like this, this unswallowed soul.
